Both are Midwest girls bringing sunshine to the West Coast music scene. Co-writing songs about love, sex, and magic, To The Moon has collaborated with several producers to craft songs with a radio-ready, Modern Pop sound to every stage performance.
What do you think makes you stand out from all the other aspiring and upcoming artists in your genre of music?:
To The Moon (TM:) Our music doesn’t dwell on the past or any negativity, we focus on a forward-moving sound to make people happy. Love, sex, and magic!
If you could collaborate with ANY artist/band… Who would you choose and why?:
TM: To The Moon would love to collaborate with Dua Lipa!
What do you think is your biggest Advantage and your biggest Disadvantage about being an Indie artist?
TM: To The Moon’s biggest advantage is being a two-piece band creating a full, commercial/radio-ready vibe! To The Moon’s biggest disadvantage is booking shows around Los Angeles that seem to want X number of people and for us to buy tickets in advance.
Do you prefer the Independent route or would you rather sign to a major record label, and why?:
TM: We are currently in the indie route, but yes we’d love to sign with a major record label, because they seem to know more about the business than we do as indie artists.
Out of all the songs you’ve released, what do you think is your Best song and why?:
TM: Our best song is Let Love In because of the production, lyrics, and most importantly.. the message. The title itself is so important for us to live by.
Between creating in the studio OR performing live on stage, which is your most enjoyable one and why?:
TM: Performing live on stage is THE BEST feeling!
What would you consider your most successful or proudest moment in your music career, so far?:
TM: Our most proud moment is releasing 9 fully-produced and radio-ready music in less than 3 months.
What inspires you the Most about the music industry these days?:
TM: What is super inspiring is seeing how others have traveled so many different avenues to get to the big stage. We want to inspire others, too.
If you wasn’t in the music business or industry, what do you think you would be doing with your life instead?:
TM: Without the music industry, we would probably be chillin’ on the beach more!
