Artist Interview
What made you decide to jump into the music industry or music business?
Elikprim (ERA: ) Luckily for me, I discovered my love for music during my tenure office as a prefect. I realized my passion for music was deeper and more sensitive, so I developed a love for playing instruments too. My passion for music started back in school and then I decided to pursue music as a full-time career so I started writing and recording at Master mix studio. These songs officially launched my career on a new level. Now, I am officially signed to Nexx Vibes Entertainment.
What do you think makes you stand out from all the other aspiring and upcoming artists in your genre of music?
ERA: I have an interest in Afrobeats / Afro Soul unlike many others.
If you could collaborate with ANY artist/band… Who would you choose and why?
ERA: I would like to collaborate with any artist because music is a feeling and as an Artist I can help make that song have different feelings and vibes. This is what it means to chase my dreams – to make any music.
Out of all the songs you’ve released, what do you think is your Best song and why?
ERA: So far Ewoe is the Only song I release but have another new song coming out on the 16th of November by the title ‘ TORTOR ‘ in a Ghana local dialect meaning Confused. My EP ALBUM is still in production and expect to be out next Year August.
Between creating in the studio OR performing live on stage, which is your most enjoyable one and why?
ERA: Performing Live is the best feeling because you will never know how good your song or music is until you see and hear the audience reaction.
What would you consider your most successful or proudest moment in your music career, so far?
ERA: I can’t tell for now…since the best is yet to come.
What inspires you the most about the music industry these days?
ERA: Afrobeat inspires me the most since I am an African, we need to express our culture and Arts to the entire world.
What kind of impact do you want to make with your music?
ERA: I want to be remembered as the Prince of Afrobeat. I have seen other Artist achieve their dreams and I believe God will do it for me also.
