Brad Harbeck’s (The) Great North is a Tasmanian band formed in 2021 as the solo moniker for Brad Harbeck, a former member of The Protagonists & A Silhouette City. The band really enjoys creating music they can personally vibe out to themselves, and if the world enjoys listening to it along with them, that’s always a bonus too. Recording in the studio with their producer & engineer Tim Broxton is one of the most entertaining parts of the band’s creative process. But, when it comes to the inspiration behind the music, Brad just wants to inspire the next generation of his bloodline.
I really wanted to create something that my daughter can look back on in 10 years time & say; ‘hey, you know what, that was cool. Good song’.
