One day I couldn’t stop playing Ariana Grande and then this song came out of that day. It’s my girlfriend and her best friends favorite female artist and me as a musician / artist wanted to give her a fair listening chance and I fell in love with her voice. So I chopped up a sample from her hit song “7 rings” and made this beat and the rest is history…honestly, I swear.

– 4KPHIL

Artist, producer, and rapper 4KPHIL continues to raise the bar in the alternative, soulful, and storytelling hip hop, with the striking intensity and equally inspiring visuals of I Want It, I Got It.

“I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it…”

I Want It, I Got It by 4KPHIL is a definite highlight, with captivating sampled melodies, a relatable theme that is packaged in a unique way, and great storytelling.

The I Want It, I Got It tune employs a genuine calm feel alongside a single vocal lead and minor echoes of voice for added impact, with essential yet melodic background and intense pace.

4KPHIL is an artist known for throwing a wrench into the works and going against the grain of the current music trends by providing an alternative vibe. Their mannerisms are all their own.

4KPHIL’s low-voiced bellow is deep, atonal, and easygoing, and its contained coolness is captivating. It’s a kind of rap rendition that wraps you around its low-voiced bellow.

The vocal tone of 4KPHIL, the sharp delivery, the dynamic flow, and the similarly sharp, smart arrangement of the bars all contribute to the weight.

4KPHIL keeps things simple yet effective, with a creative, almost soothing beat, excellent vocal rhythm, flashes of melody, and an overall song that grabs the listener’s attention while also energizing them.

In both sound and lyrics, 4KPHIL’s voice is becoming increasingly distinct from the rest of the artist’s repertoire. In addition to being familiar and appealing, it authentically conveyed the song’s atmosphere, presented honesty, and revealed exposure. All while weaving through a series of flows that continually return to the creative and melodically captivating hook.

Silky and sticky vocals direct with breathy intent and multiple layers of delicacy on 4KPHIL uniquely winding, self-aware pop vocals on I Want It, I Got It is something you’ll keep repeating like a chorus that’s stuck in your head.

The clatter of the beat and the conflicting tap build a vastly attainable pop-like mood from the start, with a quite nostalgic hip hop vibe. Weave in these deep verses, passionately and cleanly blended, and things will gradually but steadily shift towards totally fresh realms.

I Want It, I Got It introduces the skillfully meandering vocal harmonies of 4KPHIL in a way that feels acquainted yet also indicative of an artist ready to pave their own way, with a likable beat that injects a level of weight and easily recognizable styling into the track.

Beautifully crafted, with a longer-form melody than most pop songs, fusing that RnB meander with a more comforting Hip Hop structure for something that essentially delivers the best of both worlds.
