Rock-pop fusion guitarist Christian Russo was born in May 1982. During his musical journey, which began at the age of 14, he met with a variety of national and international renown such as Fabio Zeppetella, Carlo Fimiani, Rutteberg and Willian Stravert, Scott Henderson and Osvaldo Lo Iacono. He studied under Master Classes including Andy Timmons, Guthrie Govan, Greg Howe, Scott Henderson, Carl Verheyen, Paul Gilbert, and last but not least Roben Ford. In 2008, he embarked on a recording streak curated by Syracuse’s Eko Music Label. He has performed and collaborated with various artists such as Billy Sheehan, Wolfredo Reyes, Junior Michael Angelo Battio and Brett Garcedo.
Since May 14, 2015, his first purely instrumental E/P titled “The Guitar Battle for Peace” is available on the best digital stores and has been an important guest of national and international fame. Participating on the guitar, Michele Ascolese, William Stravato, Carlo Fimiani, Vanny Tonon, Andrea Martongelli, Andrea Morucci, Mario Rufus Rufini, Patrick Abbate, Matt Cafissi, Francesco Mangifesta, Angelo Marrone, Danilo Guido, Sergio Pescara, Gianni Cicogna to MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO. Voted one of the 100 greatest rock metal guitarists of all time.
In 2022, he is currently busy working on an album E/P that boasts collaborations with Billy Sheehan, Wolfredo Reyes Jr. and Brett Garcedo, Massimo sutera e Carmen Costantino
