Aida De Moya is a talented guitarist, composer, and arranger whose music beautifully blends elements of jazz, Brazilian music, and the folkloric traditions of her native Dominican Republic. Her musical journey began at the Institute of Culture and Arts (ICA) in Santiago, where she developed her passion for music. Aida then pursued further studies in classical guitar and jazz at the National Conservatory of Music (CNM), eventually earning a scholarship to Berklee College of Music.

At Berklee, Aida graduated with a B.M. in Jazz Composition and Performance and received prestigious awards such as the Emily Remler, Tadd Dameron, and Clare Fischer Awards from Berklee’s Jazz Composition and Guitar departments. Her exceptional talent also led her to be selected for the Jazz Education Network’s Young Composer Showcase in 2017.

Aida’s compositions have been performed by renowned artists including Paquito D’Rivera, Berta Rojas, Arturo Sandoval, Maria Creuza, and Toninho Horta. She has also made significant contributions to the film industry as a composer, music editor, and orchestrator. Notably, she has worked on projects such as Disney Channel’s “Big City Greens” and Netflix’s “A Tale Dark and Grimm,” showcasing her versatility and creativity.
