DJ Five Venoms

People say that listening to their favorite hip-hop track through car speakers is the most exhilarating feeling of bliss. Second to this, however, are the curated sonic sounds that DJ Five Venoms unleashes annually to more than five million Rolling Loud goers. For more than six years, the Venom effect has impacted music culture at scale through the largest hip hop festival, globally.

As the host of SiriusXM’s Hip Hop Nation “Rolling Loud Radio,” hip hop lovers take a deeper dive into Venoms’ slithery catalog of new Gen Z sounds to the nostalgic plays of groundbreaking rap music. And while this DJ is the King of festivals, he’s also known as the dark knight of nightlife. Saving club-goers from predictable playlist-sets on Ocean Drive, Venoms’ residency at LIV and Story delivers night after night lifestyle experiences to arguably the most popular nightlife venues in the world!

Raised in a quaint New Jersey suburb, DJ Five Venoms’ musical journey began at the root of hip-hop music. He was mentored by the DJ SoJo, the biggest DJ in South Jersey at the time and a close family friend. Venoms leveraged his love for music and newly formed relationships to matriculate through the chitlin circuit learning the game, opening hole-in-the-wall sets, and spinning at any nightclub willing to give his talent an opportunity to shine.

Mastering his craft to the fullest extent, Venoms relocated to Orlando, FL, and graduated from Full Sail double majoring in Recording Arts and Music Business. “I never stop learning,” said Venoms. “With the tech and music marriage, I knew it was great to be prepared. Education opens the powerful doors of networking and opportunity.” After meeting DJ Q45 in an Orlando nightclub, Venoms traveled the states for three years learning the “how-to” and spinning for the likes of hip hop greats Currency and Juicy J. It was that experience that led him to meet Trek and Matt, the owners of Dope Ent., that eventually evolved into the cultural reset that is Rolling Loud.

DJ Five Venoms launched the “$ic World Music” label in 2020 with distribution through Symphonic Distribution, where he will be releasing music alongside some of the hottest artists out. As an open format DJ, he still loves to rock the crowd and feeds off the innate energy of his craft. With his turntable skills and the ability to play what the crowd wants, DJ Five Venoms is show-proven. Past clients include Mercedes Benz, Macy’s, the Wounded Warriors Project, and Harley Davidson. What’s a crowd without a DJ?
