According to the organizer of the “ON THE WAY” charity campaign, “This campaign aims to give hope to those barely getting by regardless of culture, race, religion, language, and generation, that there is a better world awaiting them.”
A global charity to overcome the above problems is ‘ON THE WAY,’ the purpose of this campaign is to collaborate with famous artists to create diverse content focused on art and music, to help people live a normal life. To bring inspiration and warmth to the weary. Like the 1985 big campaign “WE ARE THE WORLD” with top artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Bob Dylan.
Grammy Award winner Venus Brown will lead the ON THE WAY campaign as General Producer, while seven-time Grammy Award winner Timbaland will serve as Music Director, composing and arranging the campaign songs, raising expectations for the album.
Venus Brown said, “Participating artists Camila Cabello, DJ Khaled, Justin Timberlake and will.i.am will also join the campaign to support the vision of spreading positive influence through music.”
The problem of disproportionate quarantine care in many low-income countries in Africa and Central Asia due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its various aftermaths is a problem to be solved by multinational organizations.
The title track of the first single album recorded in Korea, USA and Ireland will be released as an album and soundtrack. ON THE WAY’s global campaign soundtrack is set for his December release, and the bulk of the album’s sales will go to several organizations, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the World Food Program (WFP).
In addition to the pre-announced participants, other world-renowned artists will participate in the recording and the production process will be released later as a documentary. The next group of participating artists will be announced on the website: http://www.ontheway.org.

Introducing the track with a beautiful whistle note, harmonic and silky jazzy vocals are direct with breathy harmonies and multiple layers of delicacy on Ari Lennox’s uniquely winding, self-aware new soulful song Mean Mug. Beautifully crafted, with a longer-form melody than most pop songs, fusing that RnB meander with a more comforting jazzy-trap structure for something that essentially delivers the best of both worlds.

Modern Soulful Music (MSM:) What made you decide to jump into the music industry or music business?
Jared Matthew (JM:) Passion to create. I honestly believe there is nothing else like it in the world. The feeling you get expressing yourself through a song is incomparable. I love the idea of starting with a blank canvas and creating a song or album.
MSM: What do you think makes you stand out from all the other aspiring and upcoming artists in your genre of music?
JM: Tenure, work ethic, and realism. I’ve been at this for 10 years, growing and getting better every year. I know what it takes, and I feel like we are getting closer and closer to that. My work ethic is unmatched, in my opinion. I do everything on my own, and I’m running businesses outside of music. Realism is the biggest though, I’m not rapping about sh*t I didn’t live. If you listen to my whole album I think you’ll hear that realism. You’ll feel it. You’re hearing real stories and the real heartbreak.
MSM: If you could collaborate with ANY artist/band… Who would you choose and why?
JM: I mean my dream collab would be J. Cole, ’cause he’s “The G.O.A.T.” to me. Any of my idols on a track would be crazy to me, NF, JID, Millyz, or Rod Wave. But my favorite local collab is this dude by the name of Grxhxm, look him up and you’ll see why.
MSM: What do you think is your biggest Advantage and your biggest Disadvantage about being an Indie artist?
JM: Biggest advantage is for sure creative control. That and authenticity. You can feel it more when people have yet to make it, in my opinion. The biggest disadvantage is the platform and budget. Like, you make a record that you think a large audience would appreciate, and that’s hard enough. But what’s 10x harder is actually getting it in front of that audience.
MSM: Do you prefer the Independent route or would you rather sign to a major record label, and why?
JM: Independent. 100%. I used to want to sign a deal when I was like 19 to just, be okay money-wise. But I’m alright now, so for me, it’s all about having control over my music.
MSM: Out of all the songs you’ve released, what do you think is your best song and why?
JM: That’s a tough question. I think “SunWillShine” is my favorite song with a purpose. It’s the last song on my album: Late Nights. After 3 years of sad songs, I finally felt a little sun in my life and just ran with it…I’ve had a lot of people tell me “You And Me” is my best song, and I can see why. I put my whole heart into that one too.
MSM: Between creating in the studio OR performing live on stage, which is your most enjoyable one and why?
JM: Creating. Hands down. I don’t need the attention, don’t care for it honestly. I love the creation process. Nights before the studio feel like Christmas Eve. I dream of being able to go all day every day as my job. I made this album in like 20 studio hours… let me get 200 and see what I make.
MSM: What would you consider the most successful or proudest moment in your music career, so far?
JM: I was going to eat at a restaurant in my hometown and when I sat down they played one of my more popular joints “Cham-Pain” without anyone even saying a word to me. That was pretty cool.
MSM: What inspires you the most about the music industry these days?
JM: The opportunity. So many gimmicks, so many plants, and repetitive sh*t. I think the real stuff is going to come back around. People need to feel that.
MSM: If you weren’t in the music business or industry, what do you think you would be doing with your life instead?
JM: (laughs) if I wasn’t able to make music, I dead a*s wouldn’t be here anymore…
